QLD $30k FHOG cliff — campaign urgency peak. Grant reverts to $15,000 for contracts after this date. Weekly draws continue beyond it; the three biggest prizes land in the closing weeks.
1 July 2027
CGT & negative gearing changes take effect 50% CGT discount replaced; negative gearing limited to new builds for established properties purchased after Budget night.
1 July 2028
Discretionary trust minimum tax 30% minimum tax on discretionary trust taxable income (with rollover relief from 1 July 2027).
